Meet Woody

The Creative Force Behind Better Music and Arts Academy

With over 15 years of experience spanning the vibrant music scenes of Asia and Australia, Woody is far more than just an educator—she is a multi-instrumentalist, a community leader, and a visionary. From shaping young minds at prestigious institutions like Googong Anglican, Merici College, and Docklands Primary School, to performing live in the heart of Canberra and Melbourne, Woody lives and breathes the arts.

But Woody’s brilliance isn't confined to the stage or the classroom. She is a true polymath who has successfully navigated multiple business ventures, bringing a sharp, creative edge to everything she touches. When she isn’t mastering a new melody, she’s likely mastering the kitchen; a distinguished master chef, Woody treats culinary arts with the same precision and soul as a saxophone solo.

Woody’s mission is simple: to move beyond the rigid "exam-only" culture and foster a genuine, lifelong passion for creativity.
